How to post a book review!

If you are one of the many fine folks that have read a copy of The Wisdom of Solomon and you enjoyed the book we would love to hear about it. Here are a few ways to let us know what you think of the book.

Reviews help Ron sell books and the best way that you can help is to post a review on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Reviews posted on these sites will help future fans in making a decision to purchase the book. Unfortunately, you are required to have an account with each web site to leave a review.

Two web sites that Ron has a profile on happen to be online literary communities. Goodreads and Shelfari are two such sites and if you happen to have a profile be sure and let folks know what you think and definitely let Ron know so that we can pass the word. The great thing about Shelfari is that if you have an Amazon account, they use the same log-in.

And last, but not least, if you don’t have access to any of those, you can send an email to ron.b.dunn (at) gmail.com. We will be more than happy to post the review here in all it’s glory!

Never forget that if you have any questions for Ron, feel free to email away. Oh, if you haven’t read the book, you can order by clicking on the book to the right and Ron will autograph and ship you a copy!

Boy, did I have a blast!

My daughter and son-in-law gave me a guided fishing trip for my birthday and it couldn’t have turned out any better.  Erick, my son-in-law and I went to Broken Bow Oklahoma in early November and fished in a beautiful river.  The scenery included trees that were turning bright yellows and reds and lots of deer. There were even huge, unusual  geological formations along the river that were awe inspiring.  However, it was a fishing trip and I caught a number of brown and rainbow trout.  The only problem was that I had to release what I caught, so there was no yummy trout for supper that evening.  As I stood in the river and heard nature’s call, I thought about the book I wrote, entitled THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON!  You see, the book starts out with the main character, Rob fishing for trout and having to answer that same call!  What goes around, comes around!

UFOs over New Orleans

I found this and pointed it out to Ron and joked how TV cameras had picked up Solomon on an outing to watch the Saints play. It does pose quite a question as to what it is and I'm fairly certain that it's not the so-called "rods" from the report. If you watch the frame by frame, you'll see what looks like the "portholes" are rotating around a central point. What do you think it is? Let us know!

Book Signings and New Friends

Ron signing for the fans!
The book signing last Saturday at Barnes and Noble was not a success if you measure it by sales, but if you measure it by getting to know other authors and their stories, it was a rousing event!  There were six local authors present and they all brought unique experiences to our table.  We worry about the moral condition of our nation, but every author presented a book that had spiritual meaning.  When I mentioned this to Ann Kraft, another author, her reply was “I guess we have something to sell!”

Larry Luby, my publisher, and James Pickering, who provides great help in the promotion of THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON, were also present and there was a whole lot of talking going on!  Life is about people and relationships and at my book signings, I always meet a lot of interesting people and often establish new relationships.  See you next time!

Be sure and check out all of the photos on my Facebook Page!

What follows is a list of my fellow authors that were there.

Ann M. Kraft

Dale Fidler

Dr. J. Rodney Short

Coby Sohn

Allen M. Barber
